FAQ

Where and when do I need to drop my suspension off?

As part of your order receipt, you will receive the address of the shop. We ask that you drop off your suspension on the morning of your appointment, before 10AM. If you need to drop it off earlier, message us and we will find a time that works. If you drop it off later, we cannot guarantee same day turnaround.

What is your turnaround time?

For a normal service of a fully functioning suspension, we strive to have your suspension ready by end of day (4pm) on your appointment scheduled date. If there is any complication or delay, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss further.

What if I can't make/miss my appointment?

We generally do not offer a refund for missed appointment. If you cannot make your appointment, contact us as soon as possible to see what we can work out.

Do you need my bike for suspension service?

We typically do not want you to bring your bike to the appointment. We do have a $20 surcharge if we need to remove and reinstall the fork and/or shock on your bike.

Do the listed prices include everything?

Prices include everything for a normal service, that is servicing a fork or shock that does not have extra damage. For example, a broken rebound valve of piston head is not included in the price and will be charged extra.

Do you do custom tunes?

We will eventually do custom tunes, but this will happen down the line as the shop continues growing.

What is up with the Fox Float X2?

Fox Float X2 shocks manufactured between 2021 and 2023 are very likely to fail repeatedly due to cavitation (air gets mixed with the oil in the damper circuit). Fox never acknowledged that it was a widespread issue, but they do send new shocks (or updated piston heads) to people that get it serviced through Fox. If you have a Fox Float X2 from 2021 to 2023, we highly recommend that you get it serviced by Fox at least once, to get all the upgrade parts (or an entire new shock) that you deserve.
